My son adored this sauce over his ice cream.  Although I am a Mars bar lover I found this a bit too sweet.
Ingredients
1 Mars bar
75ml/2 1/8 pint double cream
vanilla ice cream
 
Method
1 Chop up the Mars bars.
2 Pour the cream into a bowl.
3 Place the bowl over boiling water (making sure that the bowl does not touch the water).
4 Add the Mars bar pieces into the cream.
5 When melted and hot, pour hot over the vanilla ice cream (the sauce will be slightly lumpy).
 
Serve straight away.
Serves 1 to 2 people
